I've been absent from my blog for quite some time now, have actually lost count of the days, this all comes down to college. I have been so busy with the final major project and our end of year fashion show. It all went really well :) and now college is finally over (till September) so I have a bunch of fee time, and nothing to do. So I am finally back to blogging!!

The other day I got home to find out that my leather jacket had been put in the washing machine and has as a result died :( am so upset. All the leather stuff is coming off of the fabric (same thing happened to my fav bag:( ) do I try and save this jacket with some crafty d.i.y or do I use it as an excuse to buy a brand new jacket preferably the one I saw at h&m lol decisions!

... im seeing tumblr too.

So I've been missing from blogger for a while now and that's all down to college, it always is. For our last project we had to do a blog where we could post all of our stuff and it was through tumblr, ive kinda got a litle bit obsessed with posting all of my college work on there and its almost finished so i thought i would let you all see it. Have been seeing graze advertised for awhile now and I finally applied for one online the other day and it turned up today :D
And I am soo happy i got it, I chose the nibbles box and it was sooo good.
Its so simple to order and is soo worth it, the box comes with 4 yummy snacks. The snacks are a bit of a surprise but they are what you rate online, and you get something different each time.
I only rated a few things as I didn't want random things that I don't like in my first box.
I got bakewell tart a mixture of cherry, sultanas and pecan nuts.
Banoffee which is banana coins, toffee pieces, almonds & pecans
Apple and cinnamon flapjack :D
And finally mississippi BBQ pistachios.
Not only are the snacks great but the boxes are really cute and everythings recyclable.
I wasnt going to get anymore but i really can't wait to get my next one and try more things there that good :)

I have gotten nowhere with my portfolio today :| all I managed to do was reorganise and sticky note every page not much I kno. But me organise now tht is a big deal :) now I have an idea of what I need to do and what needs finishing (all of it) much works to do.

Still not making much progress with my portfolio :( feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Have 1 project planned out but the OCD perfectionist side of me still thinks that somethings wrong with it :|. But at least it's 1 project down and the whole rest of my portfolio to go plus a front page.

Still not made any progress on my portfolio but I have had some really good news :D I've finally got my 3rd and final interview am soo excited for it.
The front page of my portfolio is still baffling me I can't work out what to do, photo of me, drawing, graphic or something new. As usual everyone says something different :| they either like front pages or are annoyed by them. As first impressions are everything I don't want someone to see it and be instantly annoyed with me, I kno if I was to put a pic of myself on I wud probably get really annoyed, especially if I was pulling a funny face. But then putting an image with my name isn't very personal so what to do?? And onli a week to go ahhhh!!

So far I have made no progress with my portfolio :( I feel like I take 1 step forward an 2 back its so frustrating.
This frustration is mainly due to the fact I spent hours painting my poppy page, which i was told to do by
1 tutor, to then have another say that they preferred the photocopy grr am actually going to pull my hair out :(
At least I've now learnt NOT to listen to any of them and go with what I think.
The only problem is I dunno what I think anymore.

First update of the portfolio posts
This page is one of the first main pages in both my sketchbook and now my portfolio :)
For both I did basically the same thing the only difference was that I had to photocopy the one for my portfolio and then paint it. The poppies were made by crocheting wool into different shaped petals and sewing them together. Unfortunately i have to use the same poppies from my sketchbook but its all for the greater good!

So I've been absent from posting for a little while now and I'm really sorry, there's no excuse except from the fact that I have uni interviews coming up.
Hence the panic and freak out, so before Xmas I had to send off my application and I got replies almost instantly so now i have 2 interviews all set up :/
For these I need a nice fancy portfolio which shows of my talents for the 24th of this month ppph, that's not gonna happen. This is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do, for a few reasons
• Choosing what to put in, one of the hardest parts have almost pulled my hair out trying to find the best stuff.
• How to show a whole project in 4 pages.
• Photocopying, is never any body's best friend it's a pain in the ass!
• How to turn fashion design work into costume design :/
• What illustration work to use, historical drawings or college stuff
• Front page or no front page
• Finally showing off all of my work not just photographs I like.
Between photocopying things and then having to repaint things and trying to work out what to put in and how to make it look like me :/ with all of this stuff going through my mind I've not had any time to post.
My latest blogging brainwave at the moment is to post a few pages of sketchbook and portfolio work each day this way I will hopefully get my posts up & get some feedback.
